Tools of Trade - DeCSS Plus

This is yet another command line based ripper. It's keysearch works differently than VobDec's and it's usually faster and it can discover keys where VobDec fails - however the inverse is also possible.

DeCSS plus is very basic so this will be short: "decssplus f:\video_ts\vts_02_1.vob" will search f:\video_ts\vts_02_1.vob for a key. "decssplus f:\video_ts\vts_02_1.vob vts_02_1.vob" will rip the specified input file to vts_02_1.vob in the local directory. The /s option will scan the whole VOB for keys but that's pretty useless. So is the /p option and I don't know what the verbose level means.

You can also use DeCSS plus to decrypt an already copied file by typing "decssplus input.vob /o". This will open input.vob, decrypt it and save it as input.vob again.
